Idaho Fish and Game will host the “Fish Idaho Fest” from noon to 6 p.m. on Saturday June 15 at Payette Brewing at 733 S. Pioneer St. in Boise. The event includes live bands, casting demonstrations, kid’s fly tying, raffles, food trucks, and booths from fishing retailers and conservation organizations. This event is family friendly, free and open to the public.
The event is a "party for those who love to fish… and those who want to love to fish” and is intended to celebrate the abundant fishing opportunity in Idaho, encourage people to go fishing, and connect sportsmen and women with a community of fishing organizations. Fish and Game staff will be available to answer questions and sell fishing licenses.

Exhibitors include: Idaho Angler, Three Rivers Ranch Outfitters, Anglers Fly Shop, Woolly Buggers Kids Fly Fishing Club, Trout Unlimited, Idaho Wildlife Federation, and Backcountry Hunters and Anglers.
A $2,300 fishing package giveaway has also been generously donated by partner organizations including Patagonia, Waterworks Lamson, RIO Products, Loon Outdoors, South Fork Lodge, Kast Gear and Camp Chef.
