Big Game Winter Feed Advisory Committee Meeting

The Southeast Region citizen Winter Feed Advisory Committee will be in Montpelier January 16 to review winter conditions for mule deer and elk in the area. The meeting will be held at the Oregon Trail Museum beginning at 7:30 p.m. The public is invited. Ken Fordyce, Chairman of the committee, says, "This is a good opportunity for Bear Lake County residents to find out what the Winter Feed Advisory Committee is all about. Lonnie Wood, Georgetown committee representative, will be on hand as well as the rest of the five person committee." The committee will review existing winter conditions for mule deer and elk around the seven county region. They will discuss other items pertaining to deer and elk such as unauthorized feeding of mule deer and problems associated with that activity.
