F&G biologists create “strategic mess” to increase native trout numbers on N. Idaho’s Trestle Creek
Monday, August 16, 2021 - 3:29 PM MDTIdaho Fish and Game and other agencies recently partnered to complete a series of habitat projects in Trestle Creek in northern Idaho. The projects were designed to benefit bull trout and Westslope cutthroat trout in Lake Pend Oreille and the creeks flowing into it by providing important habitat for young trout.
