Work may involve prolonged standing in all weather conditions and occasional field travel. Housing is provided. Food will be provided during the work shift at the satellite.
With or without reasonable accommodations, incumbents must be able to perform routine fish duties at one of our summer satellites. Responsibilities include trapping adult Chinook Salmon brood stock, collect biological data, maintain grounds and equipment, crowding and netting fish, loading and unloading trucks, assist in the spawning of Chinook Salmon, and distributing rainbow trout.
Course work in Natural Resource/Biological Science strongly preferred but not mandatory. Previous fish hatchery experience a plus but not required. Candidates with course work will be given preference. Must be at least18 years of age.
