With or without reasonable accommodation, position will require working in and around water for up to 8 hours per shift in potentially inclement weather; lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds of equipment. Housing is available.
Perform routine fish culture duties at a trout production hatchery. Responsibilities include but are not limited to weighing fish and fish feed, feeding fish, cleaning rearing containers, collecting and recording mortality, maintaining grounds and equipment, assisting with fish stocking and other routine duties. Weekend work rotation will be required.
Applicants must be at least 18 years of age, able to lift and carry 50 pounds and possess a valid driver’s license. Must be able to handle responsibility and possess the ability to work independently. College course work in a Natural Resources/Biological Science or related field is beneficial but not required. Previous hatchery experience is also beneficial but not required.
