About the position

The Mackay Fish Hatchery is seeking a temporary Fisheries Biological Aide to perform routine fish culture duties at the hatchery.

General Information: 
Applicant must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and have a valid driver’s license.and holiday work may be required. There is no housing provided for this position.
Responsibilities: 
Responsibilities include: weighing fish feed, cleaning rearing vessels, and caring for fish, maintaining grounds and equipment, assisting with fish stocking and other routine duties.
Qualifications: 
College coursework in a Natural Resource/Biological Science or related field is beneficial but not required. Previous hatchery experience is also beneficial but not required. Applicant must be able to work independently and as a team.
