About the position

Part-time graphic design specialist opening is for up to 15 hours per week. Hours flexible, but successful applicant is expected to work in office during regular business hours. This is a non-benefited position. 

• Using graphic design software (Adobe Creative Suite: Indesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) in developing marketing/information materials.

• Creates design concepts and makes recommendations to clients.

• Determines format, lay outs of art work and photography, typeface and typesetting.

• Coordinates printing to keep projects within budget and deadlines; makes decisions regarding information to be relayed to the public.

• Recordkeeping, research, editing, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines are critical in this position.
• Good knowledge of computer graphic design techniques, design software, (Adobe Creative Suite), Apple products. 

• Experience: conceptualizing ideas and translating into camera-ready copy or digitally equivalent pre-press work via computer and traditional methods; creating design proofs for customers to approve; advising customers on publication design, art work, multi-media projects, costs, and completion time.
