Beginning at the junction of the Wild Horse Springs Road and the Idaho/Oregon stateline, Sec. 2, T2S, R6W, BM; then northeasterly on Wild Horse Springs Trail to junction with U.S. Highway 95, Sec. 36, T1S, R6W, BM; then northeasterly on Highway 95 to junction with Sommer Camp Road, Sec. 7, T1N, R4W, BM; then east and south on Sommer Camp Road to the junction with State Highway 78; then southeasterly on Highway 78 to junction with Silver City Road; then southwesterly on Silver City Road to Silver City, Sec. 6, T5S, R3W, BM; then northwesterly on the Delmar Road to the Oregon stateline, Sec. 35, T3S, R6W, BM. (BLM Quadrangle Map #24)[F&G Unit 40] NOTE: Authorized operating area is land permitted by the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) only.

RESTRICTION: Harvest of cougar is unlimited, although only one female may be taken each season.

Operating Area Description

Those portions of Camas, Elmore, and Gooding counties within the following boundary: beginning at the junction of U.S. 20 and the Anderson Ranch Dam Road, then east on U.S. 20 to State Highway 46, then south on State Highway 46 to Gooding, then west on U.S. 26 to Bliss, then south on U.S. 30 to the Malad River, then downstream to the Snake River, then downstream (excluding all islands) to State Highway 51, then north on State Highway 51 to Mountain Home, then northeast on U.S. 20 to Anderson Ranch Dam Road, the point of beginning.
