Idaho State Black Powder Cartridge Rifle Silhouette (BPCRS) Championships at BCR

This four-day event kicks off on June 8th, with a 40-round "scope" match. A second round follows the next day.

On Saturday, June 10th, shooters will engage in a 40-round "iron sights" match; a second round follows on Sunday.

The Black's Creek Range Black Powder Cartridge Rifle Silhouette match will run concurrent with the State BPCRS match on Saturday and Sunday.

A potluck dinner hosted by Goodwood BBQ will follow Saturday's match. 

Winners will be announced on Sunday.

Shooters must use an 1896 or prior, American design, single-shot rifle with an exposed hammer. Examples include hiwalls, rolling blocks and the classic 1874 Sharps carbine. Both originals and reproductions are allowed. Only black powder or pyrodex may be used and gas checks are prohibited. Allowed calibers include .38-55, .40-65, .45-70 and .45-90.
