Standard issue 15-round magazines are required.
The course of fire is conducted at 100 yards on the SR-1 high power rifle target. Shooting involves slow fire of 10 rounds in both prone and standing positions and 10 rounds rapid fire in prone and either sitting or kneeling positions. Total ammo requirements are 40 rounds for record plus no more than 10 rounds for sighting in.
