
COVID-19 Information
In response to updated guidance from Idaho Department of Health and Welfare for public events, Idaho Fish and Game has canceled several events and limited access to facilities such as hatcheries. Cancellations are limited to specific events and traditional hunting and fishing seasons remain unaffected.

Changes to Idaho Fish and Game Seasons and Rules

Changes to Idaho Fish and Game Services
The following services may be delayed or changed.
- Fish and Game license services opened at regional offices on May 18.
- Expect social distancing requirements and limitations on lobby capacity
- All other services available by appointment Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Call an office to schedule an appointment for the following:
- Sale of outfitter tags
- Checking in harvested black bears, mountain lions, and wolves per big game regulations. [Some offices accepting walk-ins]
- License service for high-risk and elderly individuals
- Call an office to schedule an appointment for the following:
- Fish and Game offices will no longer accept cash payments starting March 30.
- Only debit cards and checks will be accepted at offices.
- "Tag You're It" fish tag rewards may be delayed
Changes at Idaho Fish and Game Facilities
The following changes have taken place at Idaho Fish and Game facilities.
RECENT CHANGES
- MK Nature Center (Boise)
- Expect changes for social distancing and other guidelines
- Visitor Center is open Tuesday through Sunday from 10 a.m to 3 p.m.
- Grounds remain open every day, sunrise to sunset
- License desk open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Farragut Shooting Range reopened on June 13.
- Expect changes for social distancing
- Black's Creek Shooting Range reopened on June 13.
- Expect changes for social distancing
- The Boise River WMA archery range is open.
ORIGINAL CHANGES
- Fish and Game offices opened license services on May 18.

Changes to Idaho Fish and Game Events
These events have had recent changes or are no longer canceled.
- Fish stocking has continued all year. Notifications for forecasting stocking have resumed.
- All fishing tournaments have resumed
- Trapper Ed and Wolf Trapper Ed resuming. Expect social distancing requirements and limitations on capacity.

- Hunter education classes will be online only with limited exceptions
- Field day is temporarily waived
- Fishing trailer events are canceled
- Project Wild classes are canceled
- Rod loaning programs are canceled
