Oregon Trail Rough Riders (OTRR)

This Cowboy Action Shooting group wears western period clothing and performs shooting scenarios using single-action revolvers, lever-action rifles and break-action double barreled shotguns in an “old west” setting.

Oregon Trail Rough Riders  – The Wild Bunch

If you’ve seen the 1969 western film The Wild Bunch, starring William Holden, Ernest Borgnine and Robert Ryan, you have an inkling of what this shoot is all about. Using the same western backdrops as for their traditional old west shoots, OTRR members give up their six-guns and use more modern firearms as seen in OTRR members give up their six-guns and use more modern firearms as seen in The Wild Bunch. These include the Colt M1911 semiauto pistol, the Winchester Model 1897 pump shotgun and the Winchester Model 1912 pump shotgun.
