.22 Bench Rest Matches

.22 Benchrest Matches

Sponsored by the non-profit shooting club, the EE-DA-HOW Long Rifle & Pistol Club.

A 50-yard .22 benchrest match is held monthly at the BCR lower silhouette range. Shooters may shoot any .22 caliber rifle using .22 long rifle ammunition. Shooting is done from a bench using a sandbag rest or bipod. Any optic is allowed and the scope magnification should be high enough to see the holes in the paper target at 50 yards.

Shooters compete in either the factory or unlimited class. The target contains 25 record bulls and several sighter bulls on an 11 in. x 14 in. paper. Shooters have 20 minutes to shoot 25 bulls at 50 yards with one shot per bull for a maximum score of 2500. The sighter bulls can be used anytime during the match. The match consists of 2 or more targets.

The matches are held at the BCR Lower Silhouette range on the third Saturday of each month from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. The match fee is $5 for EE DA HOW club members and $10 for non-members. Check the monthly calendar to confirm the date and time of the match. For more information contact Paul Murray at paulmurray01@msn.com.
