The Fish and Game Morrison Knudsen (MK) Nature Center in Boise is getting ready for its annual Spring Wildlife Celebration. This family-friendly event will be held at the nature center on Saturday, April 29 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The cost is $3 per person, ages three and over.
An assortment of education stations will be available for visitors to learn about a wide variety of Idaho wildlife and wildlife-related recreation. Live birds of prey presentations will be held and visitors can learn about Idaho’s bears along with how to enjoy the outdoors in bear country. Retrieving dog demonstrations will be also held and the Burgerlicous Food Truck will be on-hand for lunch. Other hands-on education stations will be located around the nature center grounds and include making plaster casts of animal tracks, feather painting and more.
Come on over to the MK Nature Center on April 29 to learn about some of Idaho’s native wildlife. Also be sure to check out the Idaho Native Plant Society’s native plant sale, going on nearby.
